First the arm. It took me ages of playing to get it to work reliably. Itd often not light up the green button on the app. What Ive found is you should open the app first and go to Arm with grey button. Then open cuff. If it doesnt turn green swipe up your iPhone control dock and turn Bluetooth off then on. That usually fixes it. Pretty ridiculous to have to jump through so many hoops but I can live with it now.
As for the Base (the scale), total frustration. Ive been on phone with support multiple times. Theres obviously something wrong with it but they wont send me a replacement and keep wanting to try one more thing whether its an app update or some mysterious firmware update thats coming next week but never does. I have to keep removing batteries, resetting device, re onboard it, etc. Sometimes I mess with it for a hour just to get one reading. Right now it acts like a dumb scale. It will give me weight but not upload the readings. Gives wifi error despite me confirming wifi is set up correctly. Very frustrated. Right now they want me to wait for a new firmware update. It feels like they are trying to run out a clock. Good customer service would have been to send me a new one with a prepaid mailer to send defective unit back so THEY could spend ages trying to get that one to work.
Oh its also been mentioned to me it may not be compatible with my wifi. I have an Apple Time Capsule. Really? Their product doesnt work with Apple wifi units? Unbelievable.
Im going to invoke my Amex purchase protection soon if they dont replace this thing. :(
