Qardio heart health App Reviews

App does not work with ios9

Its a great little machine. Works well. I tested it against my doctors readings and its pretty accurate. However with the latest iOS update, the app no longer works. It wont even open. This is not a toy - it needs to work! Most people get one because they need to monitor their pressure regularly on their own. Any delays mean its of no use at all during the downtime while the app is being fixed. I urge you to get this done ASAP.

All features are now working perfectly

Some of the initial problems with this app were simply growing pains which have since being corrected. I really love the app and both qardio devices including the blood pressure monitor and scale. The BP monitor works well with my Apple Watch. Both my wife and I can simply stand on the scale (separately) without tapping and will receive accurate readings which are immediately updated to the apps on each of our phones. The scale/app distinguishes who is on the scale at the time. I have to admit I was a bit frustrated for the first week or so after the scale was released but the support team was first class and all the problems seem to have evaporated. I am not sure I can justify the cost of the core product but I am very eager to hear how it integrates with the arm and base. All readings are uploading perfectly into Healthkit.

Crashes about 1/3 of the time

I really like the idea of a separate small blood pressure monitor and the Cardio app on my iPhone but the app crashes about 1/3 of the time. I hope that they fix the problem in the future.

Awesome app

New features and language improvements. Awesome

Cant create an account, so cant use device

Quite possibly one of the worst first-time user experiences Ive ever seen. The hardware is beautiful, but the app/server is garbage. Before you can use the device, you have to create an account. First of all, theres absolutely no reason for that. I have my phone, I have the Qardio, and that should be enough. I shouldnt be forced to register to use a non-networked piece of hardware, and I definitely dont want my health data stored on their servers. Secondly, if theyre going to require a login, they should make sure people can actually register. When I try to create a new account, a grey box briefly appears and then goes away. Zero information about what happened. If I try to sign in, thinking maybe the registration worked, it says I have no internet connection. Well, I have enough of a connection to leave this terrible review for their crappy product. Great job, Qardio.

Nothing but problems / sending it back

Where do I start? I got the device and the initial sync to my phone was fine but EVERY day after that I have had issues with this app and this hardware. Im blown away at how bad this thing is. Starting with it continually being unable to sync with the cuff, issues with erratic results/readings from the device, issues with the app reporting that the batteries are dead in the device (when they arent), and now today the topper is that when I started up the app all of a sudden it has lost my authentication information so now I have to go through the process of resetting my password once again because for some reason the app will randomly lose my credentials for absolutely no reason whatsoever. One would think they could put a few minutes into getting the thumbprint authentication framework going - so sad. For a device that is meant to monitor your your blood pressure my biggest concern is that (trying) to use the device itself has become so unbearably frustrating that it raises my blood pressure immensely just trying to get it working. Im sending this junk back - its WAYYY too early of a product to be in the hands of consumers. Looks REALLY nice but DO NOT be fooled / this is the closest thing Ive seen to a #FAIL in a long time. step your game up guys, fix this thing before developing new products / this is supposed to be a medical device / we expect it to work - it does not.

No problems so far.

Read the manual, do what it says, and as far as I can tell, the thing does precisely what it is supposed to do…

Current version not working with Health in iOS 9

Since upgrading to iOS 9, the app has stopped syncing data with the Health app.

Qardioarm

I just got one today and doesnt work. Try to pair it and dont function. Try to create an account and doesnt work the app keep saying check internet connection.

Apple Watch - Total failure - they blame Apple

You will note that the Apple Watch is identified as supported. This is a bad joke. Maybe if you start the program on the iPhone and sit next to the iPhone it may work. So far in testing over a six week period with continuing customer support it worked maybe 1 out of 30 attempts. But don’t walk more than a few feet from the iPhone or the test results were zero. Working only with the iPhone resulted in many frustrations. i was repeatedly asked to sign in even when the previous test functioned. When I was asked to sign in on the iPhone I would in disgust sometimes leave the iPhone and start the process on my iPad without problems. Conclusion: Qardio say the problems are caused by Apple. Does it work with the iPad - usually. Does it work with the iPhone? Kinda but often times after repeated frustration. Does it work with the Watch - Less than 10% and then usually with frustration and almost sitting on the iPhone - why then the Watch? How does it work with the Apple Health? Sometimes it transferred the results and sometimes it took days before the results were visible. When I asked customer service why or how to get the results immediately I was met with Huuu. It should work. Pairing is a joke. One device must physically be laid upon the other for the process to be completed. Those are the words I was given by customer service, really. They explained this is necessary to provide security between the devices. What do you think? Great idea but they have a long way to go as I see it. I had over 30 emails and two extended telephone contacts with semi english speaking people. All were kind and expressed desires to help. After six weeks of promises they finally said that it was not intended to work with the watch through the iPhone without first opening the iPhone Qardio app on the iPhone and then activating the cuff by depressing the start on the Watch. AND, this must be done while being but a few feet from the iPhone. I asked why use the Watch? That was met with no response. Finally today they informed me that the problems are all because Apple won’t allow them to adequately use the iPhone software. They have to ability to fix the problems. You take it form there.

flakey

constantly have to log back in. loses data.

Ambulatory Monitoring / Scheduling

Why cant i wear the cuff throughout the day and in my sleep and schedule the measurement to be taken hourly or at various intervals? Not only would this be a simple scheduling background tweak to the app, but it would also be a feature that you can market and even increase the value/price of the unit.

Great hardware, pathetic software

Qardio makes an awesome blood pressure monitor. However the software to control it is absolutely horrible! :( It provides absolute minimum functionality, cant track multiple measurements throughout a day, full of bugs and "forgets" all settings every day, so you have to log in virtually daily. The Apple Watch app simply doesnt work: it just shows "Qardio" logo and thats it. It never progresses anywhere. Which is a pity, since the hardware itself is very good. :(

Recent update

The app will no longer open after the recent update. I called support and the recommended delete and reinstall. That solved the problem. They say a probable download issue with the App Store. I have iPhone version 8.4.1 Great quick response to my online support request!!

iPhone app OK: Watch app NG

1) Still have to reenter login credentials each day, sometimes several times a day. Other apps keep you logged in, why not this one? Its a buzzkill esp with long IDs & Passwords. 2) Why cant the app work w/o logging in to a server? 3) Apple Watch app rarely works. It hangs at the Qardio logo or gray START button. 4) iPhone app works pretty well as before. Sometimes it refuses to let you enter a Note below your Chart after a reading. The app will crash or youll have to force-quit (double Home & swipe app up) restart, then itll accept it. Fix the Watch app & make it possible to use the app where theres no cellular so we can continue take measurements w/o logging in.

Promising, but not up to par yet

Lots of little annoyances. AppleWatch app fails 90% of the time: either hangs on startup, or fails to start blood pressure measurement. iOS app mostly works, but has an annoying habit of not recording successful blood pressure measurement from time to time. CardioArm hardware that I received originally was burning batteries fast and was promptly replaced.

App will not load in iOS 9.1, device not functional

I have not been able to get the app to work under any of the iOS 9.x variants. While it has worked well for the last few months, the blood pressure device is now a $100+ paperweight.

App unreliable and must log out and log back in to get updated stats

In theory this should be a great app to allow you to monitor all your stats but when using on different iOS devices, I have to log out of the app and log back in to get my history stats updated. For the price of the hardware, one would hope that the app would offer better performance.

Unreliable

The app is unreliable. It closes on its own 80% of the time. Very difficult setup of the base (scale). The qardio base gives very unreliable measurements. This company has great ideas but is lacking on ease of use and reliability. I look forward to using their products when their technology is consistent.
